Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu has berated coalition of Northern youths over the quit notice issued to Igbos residing in the region.
Speaking in an interview with Ugwumba Tv, the legendary actor warned Arewa youths to desist from any act that would jeopardise the lives and properties of Igbos in the North.
He stressed that all the Igbos are very industrious people who worked hard to acquire everything they own today all over the country despite the penury they were subjected to after the 30-month Biafra war.
The movie producer who likened the Igbos to the Israelites warned that the “consuming fire of God” is waiting to devour the Northerners should anything happen to his kinsmen domiciled in the region.
He also lampooned ailing President Muhammadu Buhari who according to him has failed in leadership.
Agu stated that Buhari’s administration has aided and abetted the activities of Fulani herdsmen who go about destroying farms owned by Igbos and other Southerners and in many cases kill farmers and locals of the communities they invade in the course of feeding the cattle.
He advised the President to ask God for forgiveness over his failures as a leader if he wants recover from his unknown ailment and continue as Nigeria’s Head of State – with the right intentions.
