Biafrans Should Be Allowed To Go If They’re Tired Of One Nigeria – Northern Elders

The Northern Elders have made U-turn on the Biafra agitation.

Speaking through one of the vocal voices and National Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum Prof Ango Abdullahi the northern elder said if the Igbo are tired in remaining in Nigeria, they should be allowed to leave.

He stated this while answering questions in an interview with Daily Sun. Professor Ango said he said it openly in front of the Vice President of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osinbajo that he supports Biafra in line with the principle of self-determination.

He said: ”I do if the Igbo want it. If the people of Igbo want Biafra I support them. I said this in front of the Vice-President that I support Biafra if the people of Biafra want Biafra according to the principles of self determination as agreed in the United Nations. It is a convention people should have their self determination.

See what is happening…I mean South Sudan had self determination and Nigerians if they are tired because I have said so openly that if Nigerian elites particularly those who are creating all the problems we are having today if they feel that we cannot sit down and talk honestly…

”Yes I am and I am saying we should sit down and face each other and say we want one Nigeria. If we say we want one Nigeria okay let’s sit down and discuss how we will get along with the job of creating one Nigeria. But if at some point we feel that one Nigeria will not be possible except on individual terms, not on collective terms then I am in favour of quietly and peacefully going our different ways. That is what I have said. I still say so.” he said.

Don’t be deceived with the northern politics. how can the same man that oppose common restructuring support the Igbos exit from Nigeria, when they control the oil blocks in eastern region. today you hear them, Nigeria should be divided, tomorrow the will tell you that “Nigeria unity is non-negociatable”.

May God bring us that day soonest, when every region wanting to be on its own will actualised their dreams. I will be one of the happiest people on earth. When that is done everybody should be given three (3) months to relocate from where one is resident to the side or country where he belongs. Abundant of opportunities Will avail themselves to the people in their places or countries. Whoever has to visit anywhere other than his, should do so through the usual VISA application. May God help us and Hastings this day. Ameen.

Biafrans are earnestly tired of Nigeria. Biafrans have no stake in the Nigeria project–marginalized, violated, intimidated victimized, ostracized from leadership — I ask why should Biafra remain part of Nigeria?

Point of correction we don’t have one Nigeria in the first place, It’s with mouth we broadcast about one Nigeria, but in actions we have different country.
We are only pretending to be one Nigeria.
So let’s be fast to go our separate ways and stop deceiving ourselves.

Ogun is also an important divinity that can not be dispensed with. Ogun is said to have created the pathway for the four hundred and one divinities. He protects and blesses his devotees. To avoid disaster on the highways, airways, waterways, ogun is usually appeased to. That’s why they call him the divinity of iron. Those who deal or metals cannot neglect him. In fac,t the Yoruba believe they live in the world of ogun. Some of his children include knife, cutlass, hoe, axe, gun needles, airplane, ship, automobile and all things made of iron. (Prayer from odu ifa ogundabede)………..crying of a big animal fearful look of a big animal fearful posture of an elephant is more than that of buffalo.cast deviation for ogun while going to triumph over Ede.if death is imminent, use your pot to cover me if sickness is imminent, use your pot to cover me if loss is imminent,Use your pot to cover me if litigation is imminent, use your pot to cover me if trouble is imminent, use your pot to cover me if all evil

      Aliyu Abdullah
That’s what an ignorant person would say and you’re no different.
When Nigeria asked for independence in 1960 were they thrown out of Britain?
Now that Scotland is going for a second referendum have they been given quit notice?
Oga grow up and stop being ignorant.

One begins to wonder why they made a lot noise when the North gave them quit notice. I understand Lagos state gave them similar notice, albeit indirectly. Most youths respond with insults, as if there is a roadblock to the SE. Nobody is stopping any tribe from leaving Nigeria. With all the cacophony of noises about Biafra, I am yet to read or hear of a single motion/bill tabled at the National Assembly by any of their senators/reps. Nations are not begotten by abuses/insults of other tribes, regions & religion on social media. They are gotten either by constitutional means or by force. Force was tried way back (1967-70) that only resulted in 2.5 million needless deaths, devastation of the region, hunger & starvation, without achieving its intended goal. Nnamdi Kanu came with his vociferous masquerade dance, without providing any viable option, then disappeared into oblivion.
What is required is diplomacy, negotiations & lobbying so that Biafra could be created constitutionally. This Arewa elder has thrown the bait, to wit, that if the Biafrans are desirous of leaving, let them be allowed to go. What is wrong with that to elicit insults? All they needed to do was to reach out to other nationalities, make their case & lobby for their votes. Perhaps Biafra may achieved at a roundtable than through abuses/insults on social media.

What are you saying, haven’t your people tired of killing them, what is there to lobby again, does it mean that you people can’t survive without igbos, they have different cultures, food, reasoning, dressing etc with you people, worst of it different religion and the country can not move forward as long as we are together in one country

Let him speak it in Hausa language. The only language Nigerians understand is Hausa language. That is the reason why FG is against ipob opening a new Hausa radio station
