BREAKING: Provide Evidence That I Am From Cameroon, Atiku Tells Nnamdi Kanu

On February 5, 2019 320 Comments

Former Vice-president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has asked Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to provide evidence that he is a Cameroonian.

Paul Ibe, Atiku’s media aide, speaking with Daily Independent, said Nnamdi Kanu should provide evidence that Atiku Abubaka is from Cameroon.

He said: “You media should ask him to supply the proof. It is not the man that is being accused that you will ask. It is the person who made the allegations that you will ask to bring his proof of where he (Atiku) is from or where he is not from,”

Kanu in a broadcast claimed that Atiku’s Jada was once part of Cameroon, saying: “Do you know that Atiku Abubakar is from Cameroon? His area of Adamawa was in Cameroon, a claim that is historically correct, up till 59 years ago.

Kanu was referring to the situation in British Cameroon before Nigeria’s independence in 1960. Ganye, which incorporates Atiku’s birthplace of Jada was the headquarters of British Cameroon, but following a plebiscite, it chose to stay with Nigeria, to be part of the Sardauna Province, while the other part, joined Cameroon.

Nnamdi kanu never embarrassed Atiku, he used him to give instances, he said Atiku who’s from adamawa was formally part of Cameroon but for the course of referendum that took place in 1961, made Atiku a Nigerian, so why can’t Nigeria government do same to biafrans to make there free choice as adamawa people make there free choice of choosing to be a Nigerian through referendum

MNK said that Atiku “was” from Cameroon until a plebiscite (referendum) conducted in 1961 made him a Nigerian. He was building a case for the Biafra referendum using Adamawa as a case study. But it seems u people are so bias about IPOB issues that u try to make a mockery of whatever MNK does.

Dont mind some stupid fools spreading fake news…these were Kanu words….The Real Statement From MNK On Saturday’s Broadcast About
    Atiku..
Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra
(IPOB), says former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar is originally
from Cameroon and became Nigerian only through a
    referendum.
Kanu said this on Saturday during a “special broadcast” on
Radio Biafra, according to a statement from Emma Powerful,
    IPOB spokesman.
He was speaking on the need for a referendum on IPOB’s
quest for a sovereign state of Biafra, and on boycott of the
    upcoming elections to achieve this.
According to Kanu, Atiku is from former Sarduana province of
Cameroon that later joined Nigeria through a referendum.
“Time and again, boycott, historically has proven to be a
necessary tool of both active and passive resistance,” he said.
“I need not mention other nations, which in the recent past,
had applied boycott as a means to expressing and achieving
    their demands for freedom.
“Nigeria’s experience with election boycott in 1964 tells the
same story but they have banned history and thus won’t teach
you that in schools. They won’t tell you that Chief Obafemi
Awolowo used boycott of elections to achieve his goal in the
    west.
“They also won’t tell you that it’s referendum (called a
plebiscite in this case) that brought about the creation of an
autonomous mid-west region of Nigeria in 1963, and before
then – the unification of the former Sarduana province of
Cameroon (where Atiku came from) with Nigeria, and part of
    southeastern Nigeria joined Cameroon.
“All through a referendum, and heavens did not fall. It was
that referendum in the north-east that enabled Atiku Abubakar
to become a Nigeria otherwise he would be a Cameroonian
    today.
“Why is it that the same process that made it possible for
Atiku to become a Nigerian instead of a Cameroonian cannot
be extended to me as a Biafran?”
Kanu added that the Igbo boycotting the general election “is an
indirect referendum and therefore should be considered a
major assignment between now and the nig

    IGNORANCE IS A KILLER DISEASE

With all their professors and academicians, a majority of Nigerian graduates do not know Atiku originally came from Cameroun and only became a Nigerian in 1961. This is an indictment of an entire country’s education system. As with Jubril Al-Sudani, they prefer the reassuring bliss of their own ignorance.
Nigerians should watch the video below featuring the Lamido of Adamawa and thank me later for educating them for free.

Nigerian journalists should at least research a subject before publishing materials that may cast them in poor light or expose their intellectual inadequacies. Newspaper houses in Nigeria should recruit expatriates to guide them on issues relating to IPOB rather than helping to spread ignorance through sensationalism.

What this Atiku issue has brought to the fore, among many other things, is that a majority of Nigerian graduates, Yoruba newspaper editors and paid e-rats are not educated enough to understand that IPOB is light-years ahead of them- both in terms of reasoning and intellect.

Allow me to state most categorically that all civilised societies in the world understand the principles of passive resistance which an election boycott is a form of. Some of these poorly educated Nigerians on social media should learn how to read, research and concede to a superior argument when they see one.

The problem with the damnable Zoological Republic of Nigeria and her unfortunate citizens is lack of proper, decent and qualitative education. They always end up proving me right that Nigeria is indeed a Zoo.

For the benefit of those who may be armed with worthless paper degrees from glorified secondary schools that pass for universities but lacking in sound education, as a direct consequence of the damaging effect of a terribly hopeless education system in Nigeria; here is another lecture from Wikipedia on how election boycott serves the purposes of IPOB agitation for Biafra. Read the extract below culled from Wikipedia and learn:

    Election boycott

An election boycott is the boycotting of an election by a group of voters, each of whom abstains from voting.
Boycotting may be used as a form of political protest where voters feel that electoral fraud is likely, or that the electoral system is biased against its candidates, that the polity organizing the election lacks legitimacy, or that the candidates running are very unpopular. In jurisdictions with compulsory voting, a boycott may amount to an act of civil disobedience; alternatively, supporters of the boycott may be able to cast blank votes or vote for “none of the above”. Boycotting voters may belong to a particular regional or ethnic group. A particular political party or candidate may refuse to run in the election and urges its supporters to boycott the vote.
In the case of a referendum, a boycott may be used as a voting tactic by opponents of the proposition. If the referendum requires a minimum turnout to be valid, the boycott may prevent this quorum being reached.

So to help some of you who need help, here is the exact words of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Atiku… (verbatim): “It is referendum (called a plebiscite in this case) that brought about the creation of an autonomous mid-west region of Nigeria in 1963, and before then – the unification of the former Sarduana province of Cameroon (where Atiku came from) with Nigeria, and part of southeastern Nigeria joined Cameroon. Look before you leap is not a curse. Emancipate yourself.

Yorubas have already positioned their media propaganda to back up the rigging. Atiku is a big Fool. Is this how he’ll rule the Zoo called Nigeria? Nnamdi Kanu was talking about Plebiscite(Referendum) and used Adamawa as example. Atiku is from Adamawa which was formerly in Cameroon but referendum conducted in the Zoo in 1961, made them to be part of Nigeria. Same can be applied to Biafra. Succinctly put but some Idiots understood it in a different way. Nigerians are Fools. They have the highest number of imbeciles in the world, according to Wole Soyinka.

Is Atiku really from Cameroon? Yes and no. Reporters fact check claims by Nnamdi Kanu

The area had been entrusted to Britain by a League of Nations mandate in 1919 and later as Trust Territory by the United Nations in 1946, according to an article published on Myculturebase.

A plebiscite was held in British Cameroons to determine whether the people preferred to stay in Cameroon or align with Nigeria. While Northern Cameroon preferred a union with Nigeria, Southern Cameroon chose alignment with the mother country. On June 1, 1961, Northern Cameroon became part of Nigeria, and on October 1, 1961, the southern territory dissolved into Cameroon.

Ganye, which incorporates Atiku’s birthplace of Jada was the headquarters of British Cameroons, but following the plebiscite, joined Nigeria.

Though Mr Kanu is correct about the historical origin of Atiku’s Jada, it is, however, instructive to note that when Mr Abubakar was on November 25, 1946 born to a Fulani trader and farmer Garba Abubakar, Jada village and other parts of Chamba land in the then Northern Cameroon were still known as British Cameroons.

With the defeat of Germany in World War I, Kamerun became a League of Nations mandate territory and was split into French Cameroons and British Cameroons in 1919.

While France integrated the economy of their part of Cameroon with that of France, the British administered theirs from neighbouring Nigeria, making Atiku’s Jada a British franchise.

Has there been Justice since then ? Has anything Changed since then? Has Nigeria ever looked any better ? You that supports Atiku, what makes you trust another Fulani man suddenly? If the Nigerian state is ready to tangle with lgbo, what is stopping them from allowing an lgbo ascend the Presidency? If the Nigerian state is ready to enthrone Justice , what is stopping them from Dredging the River that Houses the second Niger Bridge, so as to allow Shipments as in Apapa Ports? If the Nigerian state is serious , what is keeping them from allowing lgbo own a reputable international Airport as in the ones situated in Kano and Lagos ?
