BREAKING: Charly Boy’s Mother Is Dead

Margaret Ntianu Oputa, mother of maverick entertainer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy is dead.

She died on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the age of 100 years.

Announcing her death on Thursday via his verified Twitter handle, Charly boy wrote:

“My dearest Mother, U couldn’t just wait for me to come back before you sneaked away to the great beyond.
Now all I have are beautiful loving Kodak memories of our times together.
U tried for me, for us and many of the people who were privileged to encounter ur kindness/luv.”

“Thank U for allowing me take care of you.
Thank U for being That Great Woman who gave birth to The Icon, CharlyBoy.
Thank U for teaching me how to care, to love, to live a simple and humble Life.
Thank U for constantly reminding of my pedigree and my very Rich Heritage.”

“I wish you would have waited just one more day, but I guess U didn’t want me to see you go, because as usual I would have talked you out of it, I know we both hate goodbyes.
Greet Papa when you see him, tell him I have been holding forth. Gallant as ever.”

Ghanaian Actress Akuapem Poloo Finally Arrested Over Nude Photo With Son

Despite her remorse and plea to the public in a video, she released later, actress Akuapem Poloo whose real name is Rosemond Alade Brown has been finally arrested by the Police in Ghana over the nude photo of her and her son.

According to the reports coming in, Akuapem Poloo is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit of the Police in Accra.

It would be recalled that Akuapem Poloo posted a photo of herself without any clothes and had her son wearing only underpants.

The photo sparked outrage on social media and led to a massive debate as to whether she had done the right thing.

After the post went viral, it was reported that Child Rights International petitioned the CID to act over the matter since Akuapem Poloo had violated some laws and also breached some Child Acts.

Rosemond Brown took down the post and apologized to the general public over the post.

After she celebrated her son’s birthday, she made a self-recorded video with her son in which they both apologized to the public over the issue.

However, the authorities would have none of that as she has been taken to DOVVSU’s headquarters in Accra for questioning.

Naira Marley has dropped a controversial statement on social media that has got people talking.

The singer made his opinion known in a post he shared on his official Twitter page yesterday, July 5, 2020.

According to him, one’s academic degree is a mere piece of paper. He went on to say say that one’s level of education and certificate attainment should reflect in their behaviour.

His post reads:

Naira Marley graduated with a distinction in business from Peckham Academy. He also studied business law at Crossways College.
