The home of Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, legal Representative of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, has been set on fire.
According to IPOB, men of the Nigerian Police Force yesterday December 2nd, stormed the lawyer’s residence, destroyed everything and set the building ablaze.
Recall that ORIENTA TIMES had earlier reported that some policemen yesterday invaded Ejiofor’s home in Oraifite Anambra State. The incident left not less than two people dead.
However, reacting this morning, the spokesman of the Anambra Police command, SP Haruna Mohammed claimed that the group killed two of its personnel when Police Patrol teams led by the Area Commander, Oraifite ACP Oliver Abbey mobilised and rushed to Ejiofor’s house to arrest him after a formal complaint was made against the lawyer on alleged case of abduction, assault occasioning harm and malicious damage to property
