PHOTOS: Charly Boy Buries His Mother In Grand Style

Maverick entertainer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy on Monday, December 30th, 2019 laid his mother to rest.

ORIENTAL TIMES recalls that Madam Margaret Ntianu Oputa died on Tuesday the 8th of October, 2019 at the ripe age of 101 years.

In a tribute which he shared via his Instagram handle, Charly Boy said;

My Dearest Mother,

The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you, shall never pass away.

I trust you’re Happy now.

Tell Papa I galant die.

Rita Daniels, the mother of controversial Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels who married a 60 year old billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko, has broken down in uncontrollable tears over the sad case of Coronavirus taking over the world.

The Delta State born actress and movie maker shared a video on Instagram where she was full of tears while saying powerful prayers for the world.

She captioned her video, “MEANINGFUL MORNING. None! Exodus 15:11 KJV “Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” If only men will place GOD where HE truly belongs.. 🙏🏽None LORD; there’s none like YOU.We humbly and wholly concede that our failure to acknowledge YOU for WHO YOU ARE has brought upon us that which we have found ourselves;But now we realize our folly. This is coming shortly after NCDC announced that there are 14 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Zubby Michael Blasts Yul Edochie For Asking FG To Pay Nigerians N50k; Calls Him Stingy And Wicked

Nigerian actor, Zubby Michael has swung a heavy jab at his fellow actor, Yul Edochie, after the latter proposed a suggestion to the Federal Government as regards the Covid-19 crisis in the country.

Shortly after the President declared a total lockdown to be observed starting from Monday, 11:00pm in the three states with the top cases, actor, Yul Edochie took to his page to suggest that the President provides economic relief package for Nigerians.

His suggestion was seconded by some of his colleagues but one who didn’t stand with him is actor, Zubby Michael who says he should practice what he preaches “because charity begins at home”.

The actor who seems to somewhat know Yul Edochie’s character revealed that he’s quite a wicked and stingy being and as such shouldn’t be the one to give such suggestions since it’s not in his character.

He wrote;

People should practice what they preach because charity begins at home, This one that can not give anyone a lift even when he is driving your way,

COVID-19: Give Every Nigerian At Least ₦50,000 — Yul Edochie Tells Buhari

Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to provide economic relief to every Nigerian, amidst the coronavirus outbreak, even if it is N50,000 per citizen.

Taking to his Twitter page, the actor wrote that many people are hungry, especially as a result of the lockdown experienced in some parts of the country.

He further stated that there is lots of begging around, and the hunger at hand will stop people from staying in their homes, so it is necessary that the President provides an economic relief for all Nigerians.

He wrote:

Dear President

@MBuhari

Pls provide an economic relief package for Nigerians, even if it’s 50k each, it will go a long way. People are hungry, locked down with no money, begging left, right & centre. With the situation like this, it’ll be difficult to keep people at home. Yul wrote.
