How I Battled And Defeated Devil, Alcohol — Kanye West

Popular American Rapper, Kanye West has opened up on how he struggled with the devil and alcohol and how he was able to come out victorious.

Speaking on his journey to being a Christian at a prayer rally in Arizona tagged ‘AWAKEN2020’ organized by a group of anti-gay/LGBTQ pastors, Kanye told the crowd on how his spiritual journey with God helped his mental condition and saved him from alcohol.

“There was some vodka in the refrigerator at my office, and sometimes I would just go ahead and take a drink from it in the middle of the day. I was walking toward that kitchenette area, and I stopped myself and I said, ‘Devil you’re not gonna finna beat me today,’ and it’s something that we take on, day by day.

“Every day that I don’t pick up that drink, I beat the devil.

“I’ve been to the mental hospital and back, working for the devil.

“But Jesus saves. No matter how long you’ve been away, no matter how long you’ve been in the dark, the light is right there, ready to save to give you the confidence,” he said.

Kanye West has been in the media of late over his new religious shift. Since the beginning of 2019, West has spent each Sunday leading church services called ‘Sunday Service’ featuring a choir singing gospel covers of various songs.

He also released a new album titled ‘JESUS IS KING’ after many delays on October 25.

Curses Will Befall Men Who Wash Their Women Panties In The Name Of Love — Actress Maame Dokono

Ghanaian veteran actress Maame Dokono has warned young men against washing female panties, an act she claims has curses attached to it.

The veteran actress who backed her claim with the Bible in the interview with Vibes in Five, stated that the scriptures was clear on men being the head of the family, hence why they shouldn’t stoop so low in washing panties.

Dokono said, “No, No, it will be hard luck on the man if he washes his wife’s underpants and everything of the man will go bad.

“It will have spiritual implications and everything of the man will not go on well for him.”

The veteran actress further revealed that she will slap her son if he does such in the name of love.

Dokono added, “I will take the things from my son and slap him with it. I will ask him if he’s a fool to be washing his wife’s panties, I will ask him that Kwabena are you a fool?”

‘They’ll Die Before Me’ — Chiwetalu Agu Reacts To Rumour Of Being ‘Dead, Sick And In Need Of Money’

Nollywood veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu has debunked rumour of being sick and in need of money for treatment.

The actor who revealed that he is in good health and will never ask anyone for money, also stated that he is not on Facebook. Chiwetalu Agu urged members of the public to disregard the claim.

He wrote;

Please disregard any foolish post on Facebook by anybody saying am SICK and SOLICITING for MONEY, I’m in a perfect good health condition, i will never ask anybody for A DIME neither am I on FACEBOOK.

Chiwetalu Agu also reacted to rumour of being dead, a claim he said made him recieve over 500 calls from family, friends and loved ones.

He disclosed that that he doesn’t know who started the rumour and also stated that its originators will die before him.

He wrote;

Yesterday I got over 500 calls from Friends Fans And Family who want to know if the stories that they read on Facebook was TRUE
