Police Arrest 4 Fulani Herdsmen For Raping Four Sisters

Men of Plateau State Police Command have arrested four Fulani herdsmen for allegedly raping four sisters in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The suspects identified as Hamisu Mohammed, 18, Rayanu Mohammed, 15, Mustapha Yunusa, 15 and Abbas Salisu, 17, approached the minors on their way home before committing the sad act

While narrating the ugly incident, one of the minors revealed that they were threatened with sticks and later struck with it by the suspects after they resisted. The injured girls were reportedly raped by the herdsmen in turns.

According to reports, the sisters ran to a nearby village called Luwapem where they raised an alarm which eventually led to the apprehension of the suspects.

The herdsmen admitted that they conspired to rape the girls which they eventually did. They are currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

Prosecuting Inspector E. A. Inegbenoise told newsmen that the suspects will be charged to court after investigation has been concluded.

JUST IN: OPM Shuts Down Free Specialist Hospital In Rivers

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has ordered the indefinite shut down of OPM free specialist hospital located in Aluu community, Rivers State.

Apostle Chinyere made this known while addressing the newsmen at his residence on Saturday 4th July 2020.

In his address Apostle Chinyere said, “With a heavy heart I the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere have decided to close down the free hospital in Aluu community with effect from Sunday 5th July 2020.”

This decision ORIENTAL TIMES understands was taken as a result of levies charged by Aluu community to OPM free hospital.

A statement from the church reads in part:

“OPM free specialist have saved so many lives free of charge. It will interest the public to know that from registration, ante natal, scan, delivery, drugs and post natal services are free. This is a free hospital which does not discriminate.

Apostle Chinyere expects Aluu community where he cited 12 OPM free estate, One free specialist hospital and one of the biggest free skills acquisition center in Nigeria to appreciate him but they turned against him with a levy knowing fully well that the community are the number one beneficiaries. of those facilities.

It will interest the public to know that Apostle Chinyere does not make any money in all those facilities cited in Aluu community rather he spends huge sums of money from offering and Tithe to buy drugs, pay workers and buy delivery items in the hospital which has high sophisticated equipments. The generators in the free hospital are run everyday with high cost on diesel.”

Apostle Chinyere who have spoken with the leader of Aluu Community says “I called some of their leaders, they said it is a compulsory levy so I don’t have any choice than to shut it down. 

I feel sad for those pregnant women who have been using the hospital. I urge them to look for another hospital.”

He said; “Once we get a new location that is more friendly, we will come and relocate our equipments”

All patience have been advised to stop coming to the hospital.

Nigerian Lady Dies After Getting Burnt While Answering Phone Call Close To Cooking Gas

The tragic death of a beautiful Nigerian lady has just been reported on social media. The lady identified as Ada suffered severe burns while answering a call close to her cooking gas.

Friends took to Facebook to share photos of her burns after the incident as they prayed for her to survive. Unfortunately, her health took a turn for the worse and she died.

The sad news of her death was shared today, 4th July on Facebook by Okechukwu Christabel Chetanwa.

Christabel went on to warn people to desist from answering phone calls near a cooking gas.

SARS Arrests Cultists Who Killed Man In Video That Went Viral On Social Media

Nine members of the Eiye confraternity who allegedly killed a rival cult member in May 2020, have been arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Lagos State Police Command.

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu ordered an investigation and apprehension of the suspects after the recorded murder went viral on social media. They were spotted questioning a young man before shooting him dead.

One of the suspects, Francis Diamond aka Iron Man who was initially arrested by SARS operatives confessed to being a member of the gang and also the one who recorded the chilling video.

8 members of the gang involved in the murder of their alleged rival have been arrested and they’ve been identified as Olaitan Apanpa aka Emir/Armoured Tank, 31; Chidi Michael aka Jaaru, 25; Eno Sunday aka Covenant, 25; Saheed Gbadebo aka Sambo, 23, Adepeju Azeez aka Aboki, 38; Samuel Ilesanmi aka Baba Obo; Omotosho Quadri, 25; and Moses Ogungbe, 28.

It was also gathered that Apanpa pulled the trigger that killed their victim who they accused of participating in the elimination of one of their leaders at the University of Ibadan in early 2020.

Asides allegedly being serial killers of rival cult members in Ikorodu and its environs, detectives also alleged that Gbadebo single-handedly killed two persons at Bayekun Street, Ikorodu and another five at Ajah.

The suspects will be charged to court at the end of investigations.
