Why I Chose Annie Over Other Women In My Life — 2Baba

Published

on

Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba has revealed why he chose his wife, Annie Idibia over the other women in his life at the point he wanted to settle down.

The singer in an interview spoke well of all the past women he’s dated and babymamas but was quite distinct when it was the turn of Annie.

When Dj Anyaloko, the journalist interviewing 2Face Idibia asked him why he chose to marry Annie Idibia out of all the women in his life, he relaxed back on his sit, took a deep breathe in reflection and gently answered her with this, ‘you see Perro Aseniyi who gave birth to my first son graduated from a top UK university as a medical student and is now a doctor. She is very beautiful and intelligent from a very wealthy family’

He continued ‘Sandra who gave birth to my other two kids is dealer in expensive diamond and gold jewelries. She was already a multi-millionaire when I met her. She owns one of the most expensive houses in Banana Island. Her family too are very well to do.

He took another deep breathe and continued ‘Sumbo who gave birth to two kids for me is also a very intelligent first class lawyer. She has worked on and won many big cases for many wealthy men and women in the country and abroad. That’s how she made her money and she too is very beautiful as well.

Then with a loving gentle smile on his face he took another deep breath and said this, ‘but you see Annie is from an average background like myself. We both started from nothing. She stuck by me through it all. When there was no car she hopped on bikes, took the bus and trekked with me. When there was no money or house or hit song or millions of albums sold or big awards and accolades. When I used to repeat just 3 sets of clothes, she would always hold my head, look me in the eyes and tell me things will be fine one day. When I wasn’t handsome, she would call me her prince charming. When I wasn’t celebrated, she called me her king and said she is my number one fan and to this day, she still is. Even when I made it big as a musician and started misbehaving and controversies almost destroyed my career, she would go down on her knees and pray to God to show me the way and give me victory over my enemies. Now if am still that small boy struggling to make it like every other young chap on the streets of Lagos, do you think a doctor, a lawyer and a multi-millionaire business woman would want to look at me or even have my kids? No, so to answer your question, I did not choose who had more to offer me, I chose Annie because she offered me her all when we had very little”.

Published

on

Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke has called for the abolition of state of origin which he said will bring national peace.

The actor who alleged that Nigerians are not willing to let go of the coattails of tribalism, added that “commercials and radio Jingles are culpable of passing subliminal messages that are nuanced in ways that make one wonder if there are 3 Nigerias, 187 others or just 1 Nigeria.”

Gideon Okeke wrote;

One Nigeria ! One Nigeria !!
But We’re not quite willing to let go of the coattails of TRIBALISM.

Even AD commercials/Radio Jingles are culpable of passing subliminal messages that are nuanced in ways that make one wonder if there are :

– 3 Nigerias or
– 187 Others or
– Just 1 Nigeria.

If You still regard your neighbor with these derrogatives :

– Omo-Ibo ,
– Ofemmanu,
– Nyammiri…

You might be RACIST. Or sold to BIGOTRY.

There’s a thing or two to learn from a small country called RWANDA.

Imagine a policeman stopping you for routine checks and he pops the question :
” What State are you from”…

Oga !! What purpose does that question really serve?

I’D LOVE TO LEARN FROM YOU TOO.

THOUGHTS ANYONE ?

Nigerians Are Not Worth Fighting For — Peter Okoye

Published

Nigerian artiste, Peter Okoye better known as MrP during a live video chat with controversial On-Air-Personality (O.A.P), Ifedayo Olarinde, AKA Daddy Freezy on Instagram, expressed his disappointment in Nigerians and vowed never to have pity for Nigeria anymore.

Peter Okoye was seen lamenting in the video where he said the government would continue to use the people because they know the people will continue to be vulnerable.

In his words:

“It was before I pity this country, if I pity this country again, call me ba***rd.

Right now, I have crossed the border, because as I am now, my children’s children will not suffer.

I have gotten to a stage in my life where what people say doesn’t really bother me anymore.

What bothers me is this, I am not a politician but I will say this, those people who condemn the government stealing money, put them there tomorrow, they will also steal money.

I am one of the musicians in this country who used to fight for the people but I have lost it.

Nigerians are not worth fighting for, these people will sit down in their homes with that cheap data, looking for what to eat and still condemn me sitting under my air conditioner.

“If you like you hate on me, it is better you go and buy sniper or un-follow me,

I earn nothing less than 10 to 15 thousand followers on Instagram every day, which means I will keep rising.

They said I should act mature, who maturity help?

Are you waiting for me to be broke?

These same people, give them money to slap their mothers, they will do it, useless people.”

My Husband Looked Like A Farmer When We Met — Regina Daniels

Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels

After several backlashes for marrying an older man, and predictions that the union will not last, actress Regina Daniels has apparently shut down critics as she opens up and speaks about the contentment and fulfillment marriage has brought her.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, Daniels-Nwoko, spoke about marriage and her pregnancy experience, saying she didn’t face any challenges.

“Before I got pregnant, people said pregnancy was hard; and the journey wasn’t easy. As a matter of fact, I heard so much. But I am still very young and it was more like living my normal life. I didn’t even have morning sickness and I didn’t face any challenges of any kind. It was pretty normal for me,” she said.

Recalling her first impression when she met her husband, the actress said, “Being married to him (Ned Nwoko), I feel free. I can do whatever I want, dress however I like and live my life. He is always pushing me to be a better person. He brings me out there because he wants me to be more exposed. He wants me to see the world in a different way. As a matter of fact, there are so many things I just can’t start to explain.

“The first impression I had when I met him, which I will keep saying is that he looked like a farmer. We actually went on a tour to his house in the village (Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State) and he was so polite and educative. He wants one to know about nature and the world in general.

He wants one to experience different things, so he was always trying to educate us on that particular visit.”
