Cardi B’s husband, Offset was on Saturday afternoon detained by cops at a Trump rally in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California.

He was detained on allegation of waving a loaded gun at people although Cardi B’s brother, Marcelo Almanzar was the one later arrested and charged for the crime.

Offset was driving through the area when cops acting on information pulled him over and ordered him out of the vehicle.

The 28-year-old rapper was on Instagram Live streaming to 25,000 people at the time of the incident.

When cops ordered him out of the car, he refused, warning them their actions were being viewed by 25,000 people.

One of the officers had his weapon drawn, and he told the rapper that there was a report of him “waving guns at people”.

Offset being questioned by cops at the scene

Offset replied the officer that a Trump supporter hit his vehicle with a flag.

Another officer reached into the vehicle to open it from inside.

Videos captured by bystanders showed Cardi B, who is a well-known Joe Biden supporter, on the scene.

The Beverly Hills Police Department later said in a statement that it was actually Marcelo Almanzar, Cardi B’s brother, that was arrested over the offence.

He has now been charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public. He is being held on a $35,000 bond.
